CEREMONY MARKS OFFICIAL OPENING OF
THE LAKESIDE INN & CAFE

 

Gorgeous grandfather oaks and a perfect sunset were the backdrop for over 80 local dignitaries and residents attending a grand-opening ceremony on March 22nd at the new Lakeside Inn & Cafe, located on the Northeast shore of Alligator Lake.  The Lakeside Inn & Café is the only place to dine and stay on the Alligator Chain of Lakes in St. Cloud.
 

The early evening grand opening celebration included live entertainment by Ronnie D., boat tours, food, drinks, lots of mingling and an official ribbon cutting ceremony. The ceremony was emceed by Jim Lentz.

 

The Lakeside Inn & Café has been completely renovated and tastefully decorated to reflect the ambience of Old Florida.  Tropical colors give warmth to the serene setting. Accommodations include six single rooms, three mini suites, and one master suite.  The expertly restored guest rooms include: private bathrooms, standard double beds, cable TV, telephones, remote control heating and air conditioning, clock radios, mini fridges and coffee makers, iron and ironing boards and daily room service.  Rates run at reasonable $59 to $89 per night.  The price drops for weekly stays.

 

The Café is open for breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and lunch every day of the week.  The menu offers homemade soups, freshly made sandwiches and salads, burgers, hot dogs and daily specials.  Dinner is prepared on an outside grill and available on Friday and Saturday evenings.

 

Whether it’s a unique business meeting, family gathering, romantic weekend away or a stop off on a boating excursion, the Lakeside Inn & Café offers something for everyone. Several wedding parties and reunion groups have booked the entire facility for their event.

 

There are 12 boat slips and free launching for all guests who stay at the facility.
